Hi, I am Viktoria Martinez.

I am an artist based in California. I majored in Illustration and Design and earned my BFA at the University of Arizona. My work often explores different mediums such as drawing, painting, and collage.

My work is often experimental, uncomfortably personal at times, and socially conscious. Through art, I attempt to capture delicate, beautiful, and personal moments in life to visually navigate the female experience as a woman of color. My work illustrates the trials and tribulations of exploring one’s identity in an attempt to define it in a world in which female, queer, black, and brown bodies are often politicized and disregarded.
